In this role you will:

• Ensure the day-to-day management of accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Payroll accounting and reporting according to local legislation and maintaining of personnel registers and agreements, as an extended HR.
• Prepare VAT and other tax declarations.
• Ensure timely accounting and month closing process.
• The preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Ensure the day-to-day management of accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger for Lithuanian company.
• Provide necessary information to auditors and ensure timely completion and accuracy.

What do we expect?

• Bachelor’s or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Chief Accountant, ideally in an international company preparing annual financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in written/spoken English and Lithuanian.
• Ability to work independently.
  
• Well organized, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, teamwork skills and willing to improve daily processes.
• Experience with Visma, Navision, or other international accounting systems would be an advantage.
